I am a member of the Documentation Project in Fedora. I joined the Docs project in order to learn more about Fedora and to give back to the community.
I am an occasional contributor to and the former leader of the Fedora Docs group. I also co-maintain the condor packages. My day job is the Senior Support Engineer for Cycle Computing, a leader in cloud-based high-performance/high-throughput computing. I have degrees in meteorology and IT project management and have an unhealthy interest in researching open source licenses and communities.

As my day job, I work in the Research Systems group at Purdue University.  My projects include our [http://www.cs.wisc.edu/condor Condor] implementation and testing a Hadoop setup.

I mostly lurk in the Documentation Project, but I'm trying to make more contributions. I am currently coordinating the [[User:bcotton/RPM_Guide_tasks|update of the RPM Guide]] and I've been making a few updates to the [[User:Ke4qqq/F13IQSGTasks|Installation Quick Start Guide]] for the Fedora 13 release.

Marketing

I joined the Marketing team in December 2017. I'm interested in starting an I am Fedora short video series.

Documentation Project

I was volunteered to be the Docs project leader in November 2011. Mostly my contributions involve administrivia, easy bug fixes, and occasional chapters about printing. I sort of faded away from the docs project when life got in the way.

I have a page of DocBook notes because I haven't found one elsewhere on the wiki. I also have a page of User:Bcotton/Useful_links because I can never seem to find what I'm looking for via the wiki search.
