Ideas for swag, media and their distribution in APAC
Ideas and Suggestions
Media
- Should we press the media locally or press a lot of it once and ship to events?
- Ambassadors should carry at least one Fedora Live thumb drive for laptops missing a CD/DVD drive.
- Fedora 21 is not due for at least another 6 months. Good time to get it pressed.
Swag
- Buttons
- Keychains
- Laptop stickers
- Writing pens
- Sling bags (costly?)
- Tees (costly?)
- Fedora Live thumb drive (costly?)
Distribution
- Ambassadors should carry some installation media and one or thumb drives to every event they go.
- Wear a Fedora tee at the events.
- Rest of the swag is a "good to have".
Other Considerations
- Some countries can get the media/swag done at a cheaper price.
- Taxes for shipping to other countries needs to be taken into account.
