Zivilschutzbunker

We can offer free/sponsored hosting for about 80 men and 10 women (separate room) in a so-called Zivilschutzbunker (civil defense shelter / blast-proof bunker) underneath the premises of the ETH Zurich. It's a bit like a sports hall and contains banks with bedsheets as well as sanitary installations. It's not luxury but enough to spend a few hours per night to catch at least some sleep between parties and sessions/hackfests. Don't miss the camp-like feeling! Also, it's located close to Zurich's main train station, even closer to the FUDCon Zurich location and still closer to the FUDPub location!

The rooms are reserved from Friday the 17th September 'till Monday the 20th September.

You would like to stay there? Please add an X to the A column of the pre-registration page (Note: everyone is invited to do so. First come, first serve).

Parking space

While you're a guest of the hotel you can use the hotel's free parking spaces (70 available). On your day of departure (i.e. after check-out) you can use the parking space until 15:00. If you're not a guest (yet/anymore) one parking sapce costs CHF 10.-/day.

From/to airport

The shuttle bus is offered by the hotel to its guests free of charge. It makes it's way to and from the hotel twice an hour between 05:00 and 23:30 (timetable) while the actually ride only takes about 10 minutes. At the airport you can find the Hotel Allegra shuttle bus between the arrivals 1 and 2. After going through customs don't take any escalator and don't follow the signs to public transportation (e.g. "Regionalbus") but instead follow the signs to the shuttle bus area ("Hotelbus"). Once you're outdoors there's a "Hotelbus overview" detailing where all the different buses are waiting and you'll see the Allegra bus is located in "Zone 3".
