The ibus-libzhuyin exists since Fedora 21, now we plan to make it as the default Traditional Chinese input method.

Benefit to Fedora

Enhance the experience of Fedora for Chinese Zhuyin users by speeding up Zhuyin input.

  1. bug fixes.
  2. make ibus-libzhuyin adapt to user customs.
  3. change default IME for Traditional Chinese from ibus-chewing to ibus-libzhuyin.

How To Test

For gnome desktop:

  • Check whether "New Zhuyin" is listed in "Region & Language" and default IME list.
  • Try to add "New Zhuyin" to IME list, begin to use the new Zhuyin IME.

For non-gnome desktop:

  • Check whether "New Zhuyin" is listed in ibus-setup dialog and default IME list.
  • Try to add "New Zhuyin" to IME list, begin to use the new Zhuyin IME.
