For the Red Hat Summit in May 2007, we're creating a special live CD based on the current state of Fedora 7.
Things that we're looking to do
- Provide current state of Fedora 7
- Installable bits work
- DVD sized image rather than trying to fit onto a CD
- Include Summit themed background
- Include ogg videos
- Special summit home page
Outstanding issues that need fixing
- The gnome-session error dialog (bug 236296)
- Mislabeled files under /boot (bug 236282). Hopefully fixed, needs testing with a new image.
Resolved issues
- firefox default homepage should come up to indexhtml so we can use our special home page (done as of Alpha4)
- switch intel 9xx chipsets to use intel xorg driver (done in xorg-x11-drv-i810-1.6.5-19.fc7)
- fixed virt-manager for qemu/kvm or drop virt-manager from package list (dropped)
- fixed iwlwifi to work with NetworkManager or drop iwlwifi/firmware (seems better now)
- facebrowser working at 800x600 or set up auto-login (auto-login setup)
