Blog

Occasionally I blog to Fedora People

Life

Currently mostly focused on upstream work on Puppet and generally interested in tools for managing systems.

Previously I was a software engineer at Red Hat, Inc. working on Anaconda , RPM and other installation and package management issues.

RPM Documentation

I gave a talk at UKUUG 2004 on the RPM python bindings which some may find useful. I've also worked a little with others to update Maximum RPM and provide the Red Hat RPM guide

Linux PPC

I keep up interest in Linux on ppc and ppc64 - and have recently taken over maintenance of yaboot . Fedora Core 4 was the first Fedora release available on ppc. Thanks to all the hard work of those interested in getting it running on the fedora-ppc-list
