PyCon US 2013

Dates/Location

March 13-21, Santa Clara, CA

Event Description

This is the largest community organized conference for Python users and developers. It includes tutorials on March 13-14, talks on March 15-17, and sprints on March 18-21. Fedora contributors are among the many regular attendees.

Red Hat is a Platinum sponsor this year, and half of the large Red Hat booth will be dedicated to Fedora (the other half is for OpenShift). We will have a monitor with a demo running Fedora.

Ideas/Brainstorming

In addition to arranging some media and other merchandise to distribute at the event we would like to see if we can prepare some flyers with specific information this year about the role of Python in Fedora.

Important Deadlines

March 1: Fedora poster needs to be ready for Red Hat to print (Mo and Ryan are working on this)
