Description

This test case tests is the user is able to share terminal session using tmate

Setup

  1. Ensure the tmate package is installed

How to test

  1. Run tmate
  2. Split the terminal or open new terminal session and copy the ssh session
  3. Copy the web session link to different browser tabs
  4. Type something from the web session and ssh session

Expected Results

  1. The commands typed in to the web and ssh session which are not read only will be executed
  2. You should be able to view the activity on read only
  3. Following output appears everytime you open session using tmate
Tip: if you wish to use tmate only for remote access, run: tmate -F                                                                                                                      [0/0]
To see the following messages again, run in a tmate session: tmate show-messages
