  • robatino - The fact that kernel instead of kernel-PAE is installed by default on i386 (even when the machine supports PAE) on an install from local media should be mentioned. Most 32-bit users probably haven't even noticed yet. I know it had to do with split-media issues, and that things will probably go back to normal in F15, but am not sure of the details, or exactly when kernel is installed (for example does it happen in a network install)? Someone who knows these details should make the edit, with instructions for checking if the machine supports PAE, and if it does, installing kernel-PAE and removing kernel.
