I don't object to this feature, in fact, I think its a good idea. But the release notes section reads more like a mission statement, or a sales pitch for snake oil than release notes.

Some of the supported apps leave me a little cold, too. OK, I like the electromagnetic simulation thing, we need more good domain-specific apps. But how many window managers do we need? Yet another editor? Another implementation of Perl? Maybe I spent too much time in corporate IT, but it seems like there are an awful lot of apps out there whose only "advantage" over a hundred others is that they are written in "my favorite language".

Afaik, in the category of tiling window managers, there xmonad seems to be one of the most actively developed one. But I did not check this recently. Is there even another tiling window manager available in Fedora? --22:12, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
