About me
I'm a sophomore double majoring in MSc. (Hons.) Economics and BE. (Hons.) Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, KK Birla Goa Campus. I've a penchant for Open Source Software and have experience working in Python, PHP and Javascript.
I have a knack of learning new things and I try to implement them in the projects I undertake. Over the last few months, I've developed an interest in automation and release engineering and I plan to get involved in projects related to it.
Fedora involvement
I got involved with Fedora recently and intend to work on the Patch Tracker project over the summer of 2015.
Work Experience and Projects
Google Summer of Code 2014 - Deployment Tools for Sahana Eden
Implemented a web interface to allow users to deploy Sahana Eden. The project involved considerable amount of automation using Ansible. The project allows users to install Sahana Eden on Amazon EC2 servers supporting both single EC2 instances as well as clusters.
Google Code In 2011 | Grand Prize Winner
Contributed to LimeSurvey, Sahana Software Foundation and VideoLAN over the course of the competition. Completed 41 tasks and ranked 5th with 127 points
Envato (Nettuts)
Authored articles on web development using Django and NodeJS.
Developed a Sublime Text Plugin that allows executing Artisan commands within the text editor.
ARC, BITS Pilani, Goa Campus
Worked on a project to allow easy registration of courses for first year undergraduates.
