Computational Engineer, Bachelor Student at PESC/COPPE.

About Me

Hey! I have a Computational and Information Engineering degree from UFRJ and am currently pursuing a Masters in Systems Engineering and Computer Science at PESC/COPPE in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. During my undergrate course I've had many barriers to complete some homework assignements for the sole reason that they were maintained in a copy-right environment. For the time being, I'm currently starting to read the mailists and get a broader view to contribute to the Fedora project. Why Fedora? From all the flavors of linux I've ever tried, Fedora is what I like the most. For an overview of my Academic journey, here is my Lattes Curriculum.

How I support Fedora

  • Translation

I can confidently speak English, apart from Portuguese, which is my native language. I was able to study German (2,5 years) and Spanish (1,5 years) and I'd like to continue some time in the future, once these have been fading from my memories in the past years. As a Fedora Translator, I translate Fedora into Brazilian Portuguese. Right now, I'm trying to find a niche that I can contribute more regularly thought the Weblate plataform.

  • Coding and packaging

I'm geting a broader view on the projects i was more likely to help by reading the mailists. When i feel confident that i know what's going on, I'll start to code. Probably to migrate from Python2 to Python3, maybe.
