While I got a degree in physics couple of years ago, I shortly afterwards started working as a Project Manager at the Linux system integration company credativ. I was "the Fedora/RHEL/CentOS guy" there while being surrounded by Debian folks. That lasted for years - but wasn't meant to be for eternity, thus I joined Red Hat in 2015 as a pre-sales engineer. Later I joined the Ansible team within Red Hat as a technical marketing person. But all things come to an end, and in 2021 I joined Isovalent - again as the technical marketing person to go to.
I use Fedora since the first beta releases (the old "core" times) and still use it on my main machine at home. Besides, all my servers do run on CentOS or Fedora in various versions - if they are not a Raspberry Pi.
