About Kristina
Kristina Striegnitz is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Union College, a liberal arts college in upstate NY.
She teaches courses in computer science, especially natural language processing, AI, theory, games, and various "intro" classes, and she has co-taught some interdisciplinary GenEd classes.
She conducts research on natural language processing.

Kristina plays the harmonica and likes to work in her garden. She speaks 7(!) foreign languages - German (native), English, French, Spanish, Dutch, Japanese and Ancient Greek - "in (rapidly) descending order of competence," she says. And, of course
Kristina also likes board games. Some favorites include Settlers, Carcassone, and Keltis.
