P.S. actually scratch that -- I'm certain that the top of the page still said suggestion are open (though the date was clearly specified and expired, you're right about that) and the last entry was "Ritchie" before I started editing. Could there be some wiki sync problem?
P.P.S. I think I know what happened -- I got to the wiki page from google search, and it probably sent me to an earlier revision directly (instead of "current"). Since there was no obvious warning on the page, I didn't realize what happened. Sorry again
