From Fedora Project Wiki

The Fedora Ambassadors program is currently undergoing a revamp. More details can be found at [1].
This is not the Ambassadors Join Start Page, go there first!
It is an imperative rule if you want to be an ambassador (in FAS), you have to be subscribed to the official mailing list of ambassadors!

To keep up-to-date with the goings on of Ambassadors, the mailing list is an essential part of the process. Much of what goes on in Fedora is done on a mailing list, and Fedora Ambassadors is no different.

'DO NOT SEND ANY NON-AMBASSADOR RELATED MESSAGES to the fedora ambassadors mailing list!' This includes invites to social-networking sites, welcome messages to new ambassadors, technical support questions or advice or anything else, which is not deemed Fedora ambassador related! There are a lot of people on the list (550+), so it's not necessary to send an introduction. We do group introductions of all new members periodically.
Also, to keep up to date on the ways that Fedora is being marketed, Ambassadors are encouraged to subscribe to the Fedora Marketing Team's mailing list.
