From Fedora Project Wiki

According to Wikipedia, a hackerspace (also referred to as a hacklab, makerspace, or hackspace) is a community-operated workspace where people with common interests, often in computers, technology, science, digital art or electronic art, can meet, socialise and/or collaborate.

The costs for renting a place is very high in Natal. This way, a community friendly company that collaborates with Free Software, Evolux, provided certain environments of its official space in order to promote regular meetings while the Hackerspace still does not have its own space.

Meetings are held twice a month usually.
