Event Description

The SFVLUG Meetup is a bi-weekly Linux networking event organized by the San Fernando Valley Linux Users Group [SFVLUG]. This user group tinkers with electronic devices and software, presents various Linux-related topics, and provides a fun local atmosphere for Linux fans.

In July, we'd like to highlight a key event, Fedora's 24th release for the Fedora Community. Attendees from the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles vicinity are expected to attend.

The Fedora Release 24 Party will be held alongside the general bi-weekly San Fernando Valley Linux Users Group Meeting, about 6p-10p.

Why attend this event? Fedora Release 24 will engage 45 people who are excited in programming, hacking, and development. This event is organized by Perry V. Rivera, giving attendees the opportunity to experiment with the Fedora open source platform and share their enthusiasm with others. This is a great opportunity for Fedora to make an impact at a community level, following along with the University Involvement Initiative set forth by the Fedora Council.

Perry V. Rivera is a Fedora Ambassador that resides in the San Fernando Valley [Los Angeles area] and will help support the event as a locale.
