To find information on how to join the Fedora Ambassadors Project, please consult the JOIN page. In the circumstance, that you are unsure, if you should join, ask yourself the questions found at the following link: Should I Join the Fedora Ambassadors.

Who are they?

Fedora Ambassadors are every day people, who go to places where other Linux users and potential users/interested parties gather, and tell them about Fedora the linux distribution, but also the Fedora Project as a whole. Please note: This does not have to be an event as such, telling your neighbours, friends, work colleagues is also a way to spread the word.

Where are they?

Fedora Ambassadors are located all over the world. Take a look at the following pages, to see where you can find them, and in which regions they are found.

Check Meetings for details
The mailing list behind this effort is the fedora-ambassadors-list@redhat.com mailing list. Please have a look at the Fedora Mailing List Guidelines and read about cross-posting by KarstenWade. Currently, the #fedora-ambassadors channel on freenode is the best place to go for Internet chat. See Fedora Ambassadors Meetings for a list of IRC meeting summaries. Be aware, meetings will be held in #fedora-meeting and not in #fedora-ambassadors.
