The following elections take place at the end of the Fedora Linux 44 release cycle:
- Mindshare Committee (four seats)
The elected positions cover the community at large. Recently the Mindshare committee has undergone a change in focus areas, and the committee is now centred around supporting local events, community recognition programs and creating digital ambassadorship for the Fedora Project. See the Mindshare docs for more details regarding Mindshare goals and structure.
The following Mindshare members are finishing their term, and in the new structure there are four seats up for election.
- Luis Bazan (lbazan)
- Sumantro Mukherjee (sumantrom)
- Emma Kidney (ekidney)
- Akashdeep Dhar (t0xic0der)
Voting eligibility is determined by a community member's Fedora Accounts group memberships.
To vote for the Mindshare committee you must have cla_done in FAS.
A set of questions for nominees is prepared by existing Mindshare committee members. Nominees are requested to answer the selected questions using private issue in Pagure. In compliance with Fedora Council decision #135 nominees not having completed their interviews (as a private issue in Pagure) are excluded from the list of nominees.
Candidate Nominations
Nominate a candidate with their preferred name, FAS username, and Matrix ID. You may also self-nominate. If you wish to nominate someone else, please consult with that person ahead of time.
Do not complete interview questions during the nomination period. The interview phase begins after the nomination phase concludes. Eligible candidates will be notified when the interview questions are 'live' to answer by the elections manager (Justin Wheeler).
